Trout Lake Community Centre is located at John Hendry Park, also known as Trout Lake Park, in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. The community centre on 3360, Victoria Drive, BC V5N 4M4, is just west of the Trout Lake and right next to the Grandview Skating Club.

Trout Lake Community Centre is a modern facility developed by Walter Francl Architecture Inc. The LEED Gold Certified facility hosts an ice rink and gymnasium, training room, two sprawling multipurpose rooms, a dance studio, pottery studio, art studio, mat room, meeting rooms, a fitness centre spanning four thousand square foot, outdoor performance plaza, seniors centre which is also used for activities meant for teens and a licensed preschool. Trout Lake Community Centre was developed for the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games. It is now a gathering place for the local community to partake in recreational activities. The spectacular facility is operated by Vancouver Board of Parks and Recreation along with Grandview Community Centre Association.

Trout Lake Community Centre is open from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Mondays through Fridays. It remains open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekends. Trout Lake Community Centre offers free Wi-Fi and hosts programs for children, youth, adults and seniors. There are activities for kids and adults of all abilities. There are preschool classes, the indoor cycling facility is a top draw, there are routine programs at the studios for performing arts, crafts and pottery, the fitness centre has a steam room and the youth centre along with the seniors centre have a calendar of events planned every year. The ice rink is a popular seasonal attraction. The multipurpose rooms are available to members of the community throughout the year. It is unlikely that you will run out of things to do but if you need to stimulate your imagination you can take a trip to the nearby WEEDS cannabis store on Kingsway.

People can register for the various services and recreation programs. The official website of the Trout Lake Community Centre has an easy registration and reservation system with tools simplifying planning, tracking and managing all recreation requests through a single dedicated interface.

The Trout Lake Fitness Centre has equipment and machines for cardio and strength training. There are spin bikes for indoor bicycling. The centre has free weights, a steam room and other facilities. The Trout Lake Rink is available for ice skaters from September through March. The facility has a dry floor from April through August. The ice skating arena is two hundred feet long and eighty five feet wide. The seating capacity is two hundred and fifty.

The community centre issues a winter recreation guide every year with a detailed schedule of all programs, including fitness and leisure activities. The winter recreation guide usually spans a period from the 1st of January through the 31st of March.
